Ann; The Brave Fighter

Ann; The Brave Fighter was written by a close friend of mine, who was my boyfriend for a few years as well. Stumbled upon it today, and thought it should see some light. The words on this couldn't be so true in describing Ann.

Thanks Eric, you put a tear on my face today, but filled it with happy thoughts

Ann; The brave fighter

Ann Marie Ambrosio came into this world on June 17.Her life was only a short four years however our time here on this earth should not be measured by length but the impact that she made on all of us. We are all here to celebrate her precious life. Ann bravely fought the battle of a cancerous brain tumor, she was not only the bravest four year old but smartest. She knew her medication by name, taste and what exactly it did. It astounded me on a visit to Childrens hospital of LA. Nurses would want to meet Ann, she was incredible, little things like memorizing her hospital Identification number, what arm to stick out for vitals, where her port was, all of which made her that much more special.Prior to her diagnose with a brain stem glioma, ann was a very active little person. She seriously was a little person, she had very elaborate conversations with people always wanting to know more and rarely was there a quiet time. She loved music. Always singing the music that we listen to, from Lady gaga to the ting tings, it was always a joy to hear her sing and she knew it. To those of you that did not know this wonderful person, Ann Marie was an animal person, She often referred to her pets as her sibilings. Those animals loved her and she loved them. During her first stint in the hospital for her initial treatment, she often wanted to go home and play with her dogs. One day a therapy dog came to her bedside and that made her day go from bad to great. She found the joy in little things, always drawing pictures, learning new things, and bubbles.
Those are but a few examples of who Ann was in my perspective, She was a brave fighter, never willing to give up. Mustering the strength to say hi or to give me her hand. We will miss Ann but let us not forget that she is with all of us, not physically but with the impact that she made with us. Hold on to the memories and life experiences, because nobody can take that away from us. God bless and may he take care of her now that she is in heaven. Thank you Annie banannie it was a privilege to have known you
